The leaves had lost their chloroform and gone for tones of gold and brown as Phillip P LaRocco made Southern Oregon the place of his new home town.  Well it wasn’t long after that Brad Taylor came around, his ears were hid by headphones as his jaw dropped to the ground.

Stunned and amazed they talked for days...and nights...up till dawn and then... a mission was agreed upon!

The criteria for our 1st headphone amplifiers...

1. •Sold in the $1,000 range
   

2. •Have Sonic qualities equal or better than most home amplifiers regardless of price.
   

3. •Run on batteries!
   

Now that’s alot to ask, and quite a task but...

    A mouse click here and a mouse click there and Phil proclaimed:  “Here it is, she’s called Lisa III.” 

PHil said it goes further that his previous PRII designs ( PRII rated #1 portable headphone amp in 2006 ) with the 3 channel system, individual component buffered output stage, ect... Lisa would be audibly superior.  The power supply would not be the weak link as the Lisa Lab Power would accompany Lisa to assure ultra quiet fully regulated 24 volt DC power with switchable AC input (110-240) for worldwide use.

At a later date, it was decided to allow Lisa III purchases without the LLP, furthering the mission, so that more people could afford to purchase Lisa and find another suitable charger themselves.
